Refunds & Returns Policy
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase from mendini-by-cecilio.com, you can request a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery for most products. Please see below for full details on our refund and return policy.
Returns
Most items can be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date in new or lightly used condition for a full refund or exchange. Please note custom products, hygienic items, subscriptions, and other limited items cannot be returned.
To initiate a return, please contact our Customer Service team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which should be included with your package. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a fulfillment error on our part. Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method within 3-5 business days of the items being received and inspected.
Refunds
Once your returned items have been received and inspected for completeness and condition, we will issue a refund for the purchase price minus any applicable restocking fees and original shipping costs. Refunds do not include any fees for premium or expedited shipping you may have selected at checkout.
Refunds typically take 3-5 business days to process once the items have been accepted at our warehouse facility. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Exchanges
If you’d prefer to exchange an item for a different product rather than request a full refund, please let our team know when you contact us to obtain your RMA number. Provide details on which item you would like instead, and we are happy to facilitate an exchange once the original item is returned.
Exchanges are subjected to product availability at the time of request. Any price difference between items will be charged or refunded accordingly.
Damaged/Defective Items
On occasion, merchandise may arrive damaged or with defects due to the shipping process. Please take photos of damaged packaging and items before filing a return request, as this can expedite processing and proper handling.
If an item arrives defective or exhibits issues covered under our standard warranties, you have the option to return for a full refund or exchange for a replacement item at no extra charge after troubleshooting – replacement parts may be provided for warranty repair.
Non-Returnable Items
The following types of merchandise are not eligible for returns or refunds:
- Custom-made products tailored to your specifications
- Hygienic products like mouthpieces if unwrapped
- Downloaded software, musical recordings, online lessons or other digital products
- Subscription services after the initial cancellation period has expired
- Gift cards or gift certificates

Shipping Policy
mendini-by-cecilio.com provides a variety of shipping options to get your products delivered quickly and reliably to your doorstep. Please review our key shipping guidelines below:
Standard Shipping
Our standard shipping method uses economy carrier services like USPS, FedEx Ground, or UPS Mail Innovations. Transit time is approximately 5-7 business days from the date your order ships out.
Standard shipping rates start at $5.99 and increase based on weight. This option is only available for delivery addresses located within the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping to P.O. boxes is available for an additional fee.
Expedited Shipping
We offer several expedited shipping options to receive your order faster for an additional fee:
- 3-5 Day Expedited
- 2-Day Expedited
- Next Day Expedited
Expedited shipping uses USPS Priority or FedEx Express services. Actual transit time depends on your location and when your order is processed. An extra handling fee applies based on weight.
Pickup In-Store
Select products like larger instruments may be available to pickup at your local Mendini By Cecilio® store location. In-store pickup is free and orders are typically ready within 1-2 business days. Not all items can be shipped to store due to size and logistical constraints – your cart will reflect available options during checkout.
Large & Oversize Items
Additional shipping fees apply for large or heavy items like xylophones, drum sets, and oversize wind instruments. A $39.99 – $59.99 freight surcharge is added at checkout where applicable.
Very large items may also require special crate shipping or freight truck delivery. You will be contacted to verify someone is available to receive the delivery.
Shipment Tracking
Once your order ships out, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with carrier tracking information to follow the progress as it makes its way to you! Tracking links may take several hours to populate data after the carrier receives and scans your package.
Lost or Damaged Items
We take extra precautions to prevent damage and loss in transit. However, occasionally errors or accidents occur. Contact us immediately if you receive an order damaged upon delivery, or if any items are missing so we can identify what happened and make it right. Having photos is very helpful for claims.
Please note we are unable to offer refunds for used products that become lost or damaged after delivery. Review return and warranty policies if issues arise after receipt.

Warranty & Repairs
Most products purchased on mendini-by-cecilio.com are backed by a limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Please see warranty details by product below:
Instruments
- 1 year warranty covering manufacturer defects
- Exclusions for normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, or lack of proper maintenance
Accessories
- 90 day warranty from purchase date
- Exclusions for damage from use inconsistent with product instructions
Amplifiers, Metronomes & Electronics
- 1 year warranty provided manufacturer defects arise despite proper operation per accompanying instructions – proof of purchase required
Lesson Books & Sheet Music
- Intangible goods – no physical warranty, but refunds issued if item incorrectly received
Custom Products
- No returns or warranty, but remake provided if incorrect due to fulfillment error
To request repairs under warranty, please contact our Customer Service team. We may attempt troubleshooting or request photos/video to identify the problem and determine if a return, replacement, or repair is required.
Warranty coverage requires you cease using the product once an issue is identified. Additional damage from continued use after a problem arises may be excluded from warranty remedies.
For best results, please retain original purchase receipts and documentation for warranty claims. Customer will bear costs of shipping defective items back to our warehouse, and we will provide ground shipping of replacements/repaired items back to you at no charge. Expedited return shipping can be arranged for an additional fee.
If our repair center determines damage is due to non-warranty issues like normal wear, misuse, or lack of proper care, you will be notified of estimated repair costs and asked if you would like the item shipped back unrepaired. Return shipping costs in this situation remain the customer’s responsibility.
